ABOUT Mohit Raina

Mohit Raina is an indisputable charismatic personality on the Indian television today. Famous for his role in the popular mythological TV show, Devon Ke Dev–Mahadev as Lord Shiva he has been catchy both among the media as well as his fans whom he has allured with his captivating performances onscreen. Born and brought up in Jammu, he came to Bombay to try his luck in modelling but instead landed up doing television. He started his career in the year 2006 with a science fiction TV show called Antariksh. Later he got a chance to appear in the movie Don Muthu Swami starring Mithun Chakraborty. However, he eventually returned back to television and continued acting in soap operas until he got a break in Devon Ke Dev – Mahadev on Life OK. He also played the role of Shiva in Mahabharat on Star Plus and is currently seen in the historical drama "Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat" playing the role of Emperor Ashoka.
