Indian-American mathematician C R Rao awarded math 'Nobel Prize'

C R Rao will receive the prize this July at the biennial International Statistical Institute World Statistics Congress in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

Indian mathematician Neena Gupta wins Ramanujan Prize 2021 for her work in algebraic geometry

Neena Gupta is the third woman to receive the Ramanujan Prize, which was first awarded in 2005. She is the fourth Indian to win this prestigious prize. Prior to her, three of the other four winners are also associated with the ISI Kolkata.
