‘Limited specialisations, scarce internships’: IIT Council on why fewer engineers pursue MTech

The IIT Council noted that a key factor discouraging BTech graduates from pursuing MTech degrees in India is the limited availability of relevant, contemporary specialisations, coupled with the restricted scope for meaningful industry exposure within existing programmes.
