Residents, activists form human chain over encroachments on Belapur Hill

According to local residents, the area falls under the jurisdiction of the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC), however, the ownership of the hill has been transferred from the forest department to CIDCO.

Panama City Beach: A family of nine saved from drowning by a human chain

Beachgoers formed a human chain on Saturday afternoon off Panama City Beach to rescue nine drowning members of a family. Roberta Ursrey, her husband, mother, nephews and sons were saved from drowning as 80 people formed a human chain to rescue them.
