New Delhi, Feb 25 (ANI): We all love Rajasthani folk music, but how often do we listen to it?Manganiyars, the community who for generations have been keeping this art alive, travel all around the world for their performances, but fail to keep people of India in touch with its own culture because of lack of sources and demand. On top of that, they are facing tough competition from western influenced music due to which their existence is at the verge of getting lost.In such a scenario, Sangeetcar, an organisation, is aiming to revive, restore this dying art of India. She said that the music will also be available on the online channel of Sangeetcar that will enable people to contact the artist and learn the art directly through them.Continuing, she said Sangeetcar travels to various districts of Manganiyar to fetch the music right in its original form and from the place it is being originated.Sangeetcar’s journey that has begun from Jaisalmer will soon have music coming from every corner of India. Soon, Ayesha hopes, Indian folk art will become a game changer in the music industry.
