Bobby Deol: A Resurgent Career Bobby Deol, son of Dharmendra and younger brother of Sunny Deol, launched his career with the romantic drama Barsaat (1995), winning the Filmfare Best Male Debut award. He quickly established himself with a string of successful action thrillers, including Gupt (1997), Soldier (1998), Badal (2000), and Bichhoo (2000). His performance in Humraaz (2002) earned him a Filmfare Best Actor nomination.
