India violated ceasefire 90 times: Pakistan

Pakistan Foreign Office spokesperson Nafees Zakaria claimed that Pakistan had "never violated the ceasefire agreement" and that ceasefire violations had always been misreported by Indian media.

Pakistan on Monday accused India of violating the 2003 ceasefire in Jammu and Kashmir more than 90 times. “During 2016, India violated the ceasefire more than 90 times. This must stop,” Foreign Office spokesperson Nafees Zakria tweeted. He said India was the main hurdle to regional peace and accused it of vitiating the atmosphere through blame games, hostile statements and propaganda in order to malign Pakistan.

Zakaria claimed that Pakistan had “never violated the ceasefire agreement” and that ceasefire violations had always been misreported by Indian media.

Pakistan and Indian border troops last exchanged gunfire across the Line of Control on Sunday. The LoC divides Jammu and Kashmir between the two countries.
