On International Yoga Day, Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu seems to have taken his ‘shavasan’ way too seriously. Pictures of the railway minister falling asleep while doing the asan at a stadium in Kochi have gone viral.
Shavasan requires one to lie down like a corpse in a relaxed position with limbs and joints loose.
A Malayalam daily ran a photo collage of the minister, who appears to be taking a short nap on a yoga mat, being woken by a volunteer.
Later on that day, Prabhu tweeted saying that he felt “refreshed” after performing many asanas.
