WATCH: Driver runs over border police, comes back to attack pedastrians

Security footage of a man running over pedestrians in a religious crime.

A security camera footage which captures a man committing a deliberate act of violence in Northern Jerusalem on March 6, 2015 where he was seen driving into a light crowd, 4 of whom were Israeli border police.

The driver, Mohammed Salaymah, then got out of the car and attacked pedestrians with a metal rod. Seven people were injured before he was fired upon by security and injured fatally. He died later at Hadassah University Hospital.

His Facebook page suggests that religion was the motive behind this act. Salaymah posted a photo wrapped in Palestinian flag and captioned it “Soon, in the name of Allah and the homeland.”

Palestinian Islamic organization Hamas released a statement applauding the attack.
