Many of us go online and spend hours staring, dreaming and lusting after those fantastic images of perfectly plated food, creamy chocolate oozing out of soft doughnuts and that beautifully glistening piece of meat that’s just waiting for someone to tuck in; alas, you – sitting on the computer or any other mobile device – won’t be the one doing any tucking.
So, when you get up in the morning to find that McChicken is one of the trends on Twitter, no one – and we mean no one – can find fault with you instantly clicking on the hashtag to find out what’s new with one of the world’s most popular burgers. You might even be thinking you’d go out, or order in, a McChicken yourself, crispy chicken, a slice of cheese, fresh lettuce and mayo, all packed in nicely in a soft sesame sprinkled bun as you go through the motions of clicking on the word, waiting on your rather slow Internet (because it does take a while) to bring up the search page.
AND then, this!
You’re first puzzled, then – horror of horrors – shocked, and then you need to decide between feeling disgusted or sick or both as you comprehend the reason for the trend. For, once known, it cannot be not-known. And once seen, it cannot be unseen!
Well, as it turns out, if you’ve still managed to be blissfully unaware of the existence and the raison d’etre of the said hashtag, let’s just break it to you – a video of a man having sex with a McChicken sandwich was posted online, and it has quite predictably gone viral. Not so much as because people wanted to see it, but more because people couldn’t believe it was possible and they wanted that “rumours” negated.
Bizarre fact. It’s true. And if you love your McChicken, do not be going about googling the video, because as we’ve said – “once seen, it cannot be unseen!” After all, who would do such a thing?!
And that’s exactly what Twitterati can’t stop asking. Followed with a whole line-up of McChicken reactions and jokes. Before we unleash your curiosity onto Twitterverse, sample these, starting with the most popular tweet by actor Seth Rogen:
I really hope that Sausage Party in no way inspired this #McChicken thing.

If they didn’t want this kind of publicity, McDonald’s shouldn’t have created such a sexy sandwich. #McChicken pic.twitter.com/PRKoal8bBG
