Hema Malini,Sonal Chauhan in Budda,film starts next week

Hema Malini has been roped in to play Amitabh Bachchan’s wife and Sonu Sood's mother in Budda.

Prominent Telugu film producer and director Puri Jagannath,will start his film Budda (old man) sometime next week.

The director,who has made about 20 films in a career spanning a decade,including the Telugu version of Pokkiri, had earlier directed a Hindi film Shart with Tusshar Kapoor in the lead. But now he is all set to direct Amitabh Bachchan in this action-packed drama.

Bachchan will play an aging gangster in the film while Sonu Sood will play a cop. The film is based on the conflict between the two. Hema Malini has been roped in to play Bachchan’s wife and Sood’s mother,while Sonal Chauhan,of Jannat fame,will play his romantic interest. The film will be shot in Mumbai and Hyderabad,and is scheduled to get over in three months. Budda will be produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and AB Corp. This will be AB Corp’s next film after Paa.
