AAP leader and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will campaign against the BJP in the run-up to the Bihar assembly polls.
JD(U) secretary general and Rajya Sabha member K C Tyagi told The Indian Express that Kejriwal will share a public platform with Nitish Kumar. “He has also promised to depute his party workers to supplement our poll drive,” he said.
Kejriwal and 11 AAP leaders with roots in Bihar have organised the Bihar Samman Samaroh in New Delhi Wednesday to felicitate Nitish and pledge their support to him for the elections. The two leaders will also work out a schedule for joint public meetings.

The Nitish Kumar-led grand alliance is scheduled to launch its campaign with a rally in Patna on August 30.
Kejriwal aides maintained that AAP support will be extended only to Nitish and not to his allies, the Congress and RJD chief Lalu Prasad.
“The support is for Nitish’s clean image. One cannot think of scams or corruption charges against him. The party will support any anti-Modi force and has no qualms about Kejriwal supporting Nitish. But the Congress and Lalu Prasad are unacceptable to the party,” an AAP leader said.
On Tuesday, Kejriwal and 35 members of his team caught up with a special screening of the movie ‘Manjhi — The Mountain Man’ that is to be released Friday. The movie has been highly recommended by Nitish who has said it will be made tax-free in Bihar theatres. It is based on the life of Dashrath Manjhi, the labourer who carved a path through a mountain so that his village in Gaya could have access to medicare.
