Modi called up the Gujarat Education Minister and expressed his objections to the move of the government.
A day after the Gujarat Education Department decided to include a chapter on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the Social Science curriculum for primary classes, the department has hardly taken anytime in retracting its decision on Friday.
This sudden development came after Prime Minister Narendra Modi called up Gujarat Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama and expressed his objections to making him a part of the school curriculum.
Confirming the development Bhupendrasinh Chudasama said, “I received a call from Modiji at 7 this morning. He told us to stop this decision as he is not in its favour. So now we have decided to officially drop this idea.”
Narendra Modi has also expressed the same in his tweets in the morning. He has tweeted that he believes that life story of living individuals should not be included as a part of the school curriculum.
Am reading in the news that some states want to include Narendra Modi’s life struggles as a part of their school curriculum.

India has a rich history of several stalwarts who made India what it is today. Young minds should read about these greats & emulate them.

The Indian Express had carried the story that the Gujarat education department decided to include a chapter on Modi’s life for classes 5,6 and 7 from June 2015.
