SS Rajamouli’s next to have Ram Charan and Jr NTR?

While the Baahubali director’s next for producer Danayya is said to be a social drama, it looks like Rajamouli might rope in Ram Charan and Jr NTR for the film.

Baahubali director SS Rajamouli’s next film is going to be a social drama and it looks like the project will star Tollywood actors Ram Charan and Jr NTR. This film is going to be produced by DVV Danayya.

The ace director has tweeted a photo with the two stars with no caption, setting social media circles on fire. However, it looks like we might have to wait for some time for an official confirmation. If grapevine is to be believed, the film will go on floors on February 2018.

Rajamouli’s career has been the cynosure of all eyes ever since the massive Baahubali franchise. Humongous in all aspects, the two-film franchise set new benchmarks in every aspect of filmmaking — from budgets to gross worldwide collections. Baahubali 2: The Conclusion was the first Indian film to earn Rs 900 crore worldwide. The project also won quite a few Nandi Awards which were announced recently. The project fetched around 14 awards for its cast and crew: best film, director, supporting actress, villain, cinematographer, playback singer (male), music, choreographer, fight master, dubbing and special effects. After Baahubali, fans are keenly waiting for Rajamouli’s next venture.

After the untitled project with Danayya, Rajamouli has confirmed that he will work Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu. The project is expected to go on floors in 2019 after both of them finish their ongoing projects. Mahesh Babu is currently working on a political thriller directed by Koratala Siva titled ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’. He also has projects with Vamshi Paidipally and Trivikram in the pipeline.
