Zarina Wahab plays Priyanka Chopra’s saas in Dil Dhadakne Do

Actress Zarina Wahab will be seen playing a small but important role in Zoya Akhtar’s Dil Dhadakne Do. She essays the role of Priyanka Chopra’s mother-in-law in the film. “I play this sophisticated lady who is always complaining about things in general. In Dil Dhadakne Do, Priyanka Chopra is married to my son, Rahul Bose. When the role was narrated to me, I knew it was a small one, but I wanted to be a part of the project for two exciting reasons. First, it is a project helmed by Zoya Akhtar and I wanted to work with her and secondly, since I had never been on a cruise liner before, I wanted to enjoy the experience. It was great working with the entire team,” said Wahab.
While, the film is 75 per cent complete, the next schedule will be shot in August at Mehboob Studios in Mumbai. “I still have two more scenes to complete. Only after I complete the shooting of this film, will I consider other offers. But I will do films only if I get good, substantial roles, otherwise I will concentrate on television,” said the actor.
