For the shooting of ‘Bombay Velvet’ in Sri Lanka, film-maker Anurag Kashyap used more than 200 vintage cars. This is a record of sorts in Bollywood as no other film has used these many cars for a shoot.

Kashyap left no stone unturned to recreate the 60s, the era ‘Bombay Velvet’ is set in. It was easier to source it from there, as Sri Lanka probably has a large number of vintage cars.

Produced by Fox Star Studios and Phantom Films, the film, which is currently in post-production, will release on November 28 2014.
