Dhruva trailer: Ram Charan might be the cop we are looking for, watch video
Dhruva trailer: With his redefined image, the actor didn't even give us a chance to lean back and squint at the trailer saying," This doesn't seem to fit here".

The wait is over! Dhruva IPS is all set for his task as the filmmakers have released the film’s first trailer giving us a glimpse of the daredevil cop and the ‘vice villain’.
Ram Charan is doing justice to the role by pushing the boundaries of his physique. From Magadheera to Chirutha and more recently Brue Lee, Charan has never looked so beefed up before. With his redefined image, the actor didn’t even give us a chance to lean back and squint at the trailer saying,” This doesn’t seem to fit here”.
The close to two-minute trailer shows all the action that would possibly happen in the movie. From car chases to commando-style fights, Charan seems to fill in all the shoes of an ideal “goal-oriented” cop. But from the trailer, it seems there would be little of romance between Ishita (Rakul Preet) and Dhruva. “This love…It doesn’t suit me. My mind and focus, everything is different,” says our cop! Well, let’s focus on action then.
Dhruva the ‘daredevil’ cop is not curious about the small gangsters but the root of all evil, the unscruplous business tycoons who fund these small mafias. Enter Siddharth Abhimanyu (Arvind Swamy), the bit of what we saw here and the whole of what some might have seen in Thani Oruvan (the Tamil original), Arvind seems to back in action, playing the deadly and vile corrupt man.
The trailer seems to bring up that A-rush for sure. However, let us wait and see what the film has to offer.
Dhruva is the official Telugu remake of Tamil blockbuster Thani Oruvan. Music has Jayam Ravi playing the daredevil cop. Music is composed by Hiphop Tamizha, who also composed for the Tamil original and cinematography is by PS Vinod. Under Surender Reddy’s direction, the film features Rakul Preet Singh who plays Ram Charan’s ladylove, apart from Arvind Swamy who is also seen playing a negative role.
The film is expected to be a big show for the star as it packs some heavy-duty action sequences shot in exotic and remote locations. Rakesh Udiyar, who has worked with Bollywood stars Salman Khan and Aamir Khan in Sultan and Dangal respectively, has also been working with Ram Charan for his bulky yet rugged look in Dhruva.
