‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ child actor Harshali Malhotra won’t be part of promotions

Harshali plays the role of a child who wanders into India by mistake.

Though Harshali Malhotra’s performance in the trailer of Salman Khan starrer ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ has been much appreciated by all, reports are that the child actor will not be a part of the film’s promotional activities.

Reason? The makers are keen to keep her look under wraps.

Harshali plays the role of a child who wanders into India by mistake and later must be dropped back to Pakistan by none other than Bajrangi (Salman Khan).

Since the little girl’s role in the film is central to the plot, she has been asked not to interact with the media. In order to maintain to the secrecy surrounding her character, Harshali’s parents had to sign a contract with the production company.

It’s been said that Harshali shot for her portion during her school vacations, so as not to disrupt her studies.

“Harshali is the main star of the film,” Kareena Kapoor Khan has also said during an interview. The actress will be seen playing the role of a school teacher.
