Car catches fire at Bharat Nagar Chowk, woman, son escape

According to information, Manjinder Singh of Jamalpur was going towards Jagraon Bridge along with his mother, from Bharat Nagar Chowk, when their car caught fire as it reached the Government College for Women campus.

A fire tender reached the spot and brought the blaze under control within a few minutes.

Manjinder and his mother immediately came out of the car and were thus able to save their lives.

Ther blaze forced traffic police personnel at the spot to switch off the traffic lights and operate traffic manually.
