A day after three deaths were reported because of swine flu at PGI, the H1N1 virus took three more lives in the city on Wednesday.
The victims have been identified as Jyoti, 25, from Sector 25 of Chandigarh, Veena, 47 and Shamsher, 55, both from Haryana.
While Veena and Jyoti were undergoing treatment at PGI, Shamsher was admitted to GMCH-32.

So far, more than 30 swine flu patients have died in PGI and more than 100 have been treated. Most of these patients were from the adjoining states of Punjab and Haryana. In Chandigarh, a total of 17 swine flu positive cases have been reported, of whom six died.
At present, about 30 patients are admitted at the PGI. Further, about 60 people were screened at city-based screening centres on Tuesday and eight were hospitalised after they showed symptoms of swine flu.
