The Bharat Swabhiman Trust (BST) founded by Baba Ramdev has flayed the action against its founder and his supporters at the Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi.

The Gujarat president of BST,Shishpal said they will observe a Black Day against the “police atrocity” and carry a candlelight march on Monday evening to protest against the same. He equated the police action with the oppressive British era.

BST organised a Shudhhi Budhhi Yagna (intellect cleansing ritual) at the Town Hall on Sunday evening and said it will continue its indefinite fast at the Town Hall in Ahmedabad and at other district centres across Gujarat. BST said it has secured the support of the business and social communities who will voluntarily observe ‘Ahmedabad Bandh’ on Monday by keeping their units closed.
