Happy Birthday, Diana: Remembering the Princess of Wales’ most iconic looks

Princess Diana became an icon in fashion history in the 1980s and 1990s. This picture is from the Gala Night she attended in honour of actor Sir Alec Guinness on May 15, 1987. She opted for a strapless powder blue chiffon gown by Catherine Walker and looked absolutely stunning.

This look still manages to catch the attention of every fashion enthusiast. Here, Princess Diana had arrived at Christie's Auction house in London in a body-hugging white lace dress to attend a private viewing and reception for AIDS Crisis Trust and The Royal Marsden Hospital Cancer Fund on June 2, 1997.
