Princess Diana became an icon in fashion history in the 1980s and 1990s. This picture is from the Gala Night she attended in honour of actor Sir Alec Guinness on May 15, 1987. She opted for a strapless powder blue chiffon gown by Catherine Walker and looked absolutely stunning.

This look still manages to catch the attention of every fashion enthusiast.
