JEE Main 2022 session 1 result: The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the JEE Main Session 1 result in the early hours of Monday (July 11). Candidates who appeared for the session 1 exam can now check their result on the official website - jeemain.nta.nic.in.

After clicking on the result link for JEE Main session 1 result from the home page, candidates will be redirected to a new window where they have to click on one of three URLs available.

Following that, aspirants will have to enter their application number and date of birth to log in. Once they log in, candidates will be able to check their JEE Main session 1 score.

This year, a total of 8,72,432 candidates registered for the JEE Main Paper 1 (BE /B Tech) of which 769589 cleared it. There were 221719 girl candidates and 547867 male candidates who appeared for the exams that were held between June 23 and 29, 2022.

This year, 14 students have got 100 percentile scores in the JEE Main 2022, out of which 13 were male candidates and 1 was female candidate.

Sneha Pareek is the only female topper this year, and she aims to pursue BTech in Computer Science from any IIT. “All the IITs are coveted and are represented by remarkable faculty. Hence I am willing to join any IIT that offers my desired course. If it comes as a preferred choice, I will opt for IIT-Bombay,” she told indianexpress.com.

From Punjab, Bathinda resident, Mrinal Garg, has secured the top rank with a 300/300 score. "My elder brother Bhartesh Garg is an MBBS student at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Jodhpur. Seeing him study diligently, I was also inclined towards studying science. He has always been an inspiration. My teachers at school and academy have also played an equal part in my success," he told The Indian Express.

Now, the NTA has reopened the online application window for JEE Main Session 2 exams. Interested candidates have time till 11 pm of July 12 to fill the application form for the session 2 exams, and the deadline for submitting the application fees is 1:50 pm of July 12, 2022.
