Launched recently,Retake with Pratibha Advani is a 30-mintue one-on-one interview based weekly show. It brings out the most important,interesting and unique moments in the life of an achiever from the Indian film industry. The show has three segments and will trace the film personality’s journey from childhood to today. While the focus will be on the interview,it will be interspersed with movie clips from their best films. From Raju Hirani,Sonu Niigaam to Sonam Kapoor,Big B,Shah Rukh…the chat show will feature the best in the industry. Catch it on SaharaOne,every Saturday at 7.30 pm.

It’s a classic adaptation from the big screen to the small one,and to bless and grace the occasion was none other than the superstar herself. That’s right,Hema Malini made a short visit to the sets of NDTV Imagine’s Seeta Aur Geeta,and interacted with the cast while sharing fond memories of her role and the film. Set in the backdrop of the city of Mumbai,the TV adaptation of Seeta Aur Geeta is a rollercoaster ride filled with humour,romance,drama and thrill. “It will be clichéd to say that Seeta Aur Geeta is one of my favourite films but honestly it’s true. I was first time playing a double role and was excited and nervous. The best part is that a lot of youngsters I meet today have seen the film and compliment me so it feels really good. I am elated that the film is being made into a TV serial and I wish Anjori and rest of the cast the best and hope that the audiences give it the same love as they gave me and the film.” While we are familiar with the girls,keep a look-out for Cezzane Khan’s comeback on small screen. “It is a great opportunity for me to bag this role which was once played by the legendry Sanjeev Kumar. My image has always been of a lover boy and now I want to showcase my versatility. This role has the freshness and challenge that I have been looking for. I am really happy to be back on television with a bang with such a big and promising series.” As for Dharamendra’s shoes,it’s Gaurav Dixit who’ll be filling in. “I will be seen as Raka in this show,who is brawny auto driver with a heart of gold. It’s a challenge to play Dharamji’s role but I am confident that I will give my best. I also wish to take some tips from Dharamji in future to enhance my performance.” This new daily TV series airs from May 25,Monday to Friday at 7.30 p.m on Imagine.
