Umar doubtful starter against Australia

Pakistan middle order batsman Umar Akmal is a doubtful starter in his side’s Twenty20 World Cup semifinal against Australia here tomorrow.

The in-form batsman has injured his back while fielding in Pakistan’s do-or-die Super Eight match against South Africa.

According to team sources,Umar had an MRI done and the result is expected tomorrow.

Though the team management is still mulling to play the combative cricketer by asking the team doctor to inject him with a pain-killer,he could be replaced by Fawad Alam.
