For now,no NOCs for schools seeking CBSE,ICSE affiliation

The state government has at present stopped issuing no-objection certificates to schools seeking ICSE and CBSE affiliation.

The state government has at present stopped issuing no-objection certificates (NOC) to schools seeking ICSE and CBSE affiliation.

“The provisions of the Right to Education Bill will be implemented in the state from April 1. We have decided not to give any no-objection certificates for ICSE and CBSE schools for the time being,” said Partha De,state School Education Minister.

Over the last few days, the government has also stopped issuing NOC forms. “There can be some said rules and procedures for the fees and no detention policy for private schools, which are not under any direct government control. These rules have to be streamlined by the state government. This will take some time and the department, meanwhile, has decided to stop giving NOCs to schools,” said an official.
