Begusarai (Bihar) Assembly Election Results 2025 Winner: Kundan Kumar of BJP won the Begusarai assembly seat, defeating Amita Bhushan (INC), Arun Kumar (IND), Gautam Kumar (SUCI(C)), Manoj Kumar (IND), Md Gaffar Khan (IND), Md Saddam Husain (IND), Mira Singh (AAP), Pinki Sinha (IND), Ram Krishna Mahto (Janshakti Janta Dal), Surendra Kumar Sahani (Jan Suraaj Party), Sushil Kumar (Samata Party), Vijay Kumar (IND), Mohammad Abdul Haque (BSP).

In the last Assembly elections, the BJP’s Kundan Kumar won by a margin of 4554 votes. The INC’s Amita Bhushan was the runner up securing 69663 votes.
Bihar witnessed a voter turnout of 57.3% this year, slightly higher than in 2020. The regional alliances — the RJD-led Mahagathbandhan and the NDA comprising JD(U) and BJP and others — battled for dominance in the state.
