Wrestling Federation of India on Friday lifted the suspensions of Olympic medallist Aman Sehrawat and junior wrestler Neha Sangwan. Aman and Neha were barred from wrestling activities after they were disqualified because of being overweight before their bouts at the recent World Championships and U20 World Championships, respectively.

Aman, who competes in the 57kg category of men’s freestyle and won a bronze medal at the Paris Olympics last year, was suspended for a year after he failed to make weight ahead of his first bout during the Worlds in Zagreb, Croatia in September. Neha, meanwhile, faced action because of missing weight at the U20 Worlds in Samokov, Bulgaria in August and was served a two-year suspension.
