Pak not invited to Modi’s oath taking, TMC MLAs join BJP and Hooch

Unlike 2014, Pakistan has not been invited to Modi’s swearing-in ceremony which is scheduled for May 30. And while last time India had invited the SAARC countries, this time it has reached out to a slightly different set of countries – BIMSTEC.  In this segment, Shubhajit Roy, who reports on foreign affairs for the Indian Express, joins us to explain what BIMSTEC is, why has India chosen to call this set of countries and what it stands to gain from it.
