Qantas airline apologizes after sexually explicit movie plays on every screen during Sydney-Tokyo flight

In an unexpected turn of events during a Qantas airline flight from Australia’s Sydney to Japan’s Tokyo, an R-rated film was played on all screens of the aircraft, which featured sex talks and explicit images.

According to a statement, the airline acknowledged the issue and stated that passengers on the Qantas airline flight from Sydney to Tokyo’s Haneda airport faced technical glitch in the inflight entertainment system to select movies individually.

“Our crew members had a limited list of movies that they were able to play across all screens on the aircraft and based on the request from a number of passengers, a particular movie was selected for the entire flight,” the airline said, according to CNN.

The Qantas airline did not name any specific movie in the statement but multiple images posted on social media platforms by users who claimed to be on the flight suggested that the film was “Daddio”.

According to a Reddit user who claimed to be on the flight and posted images of the glitch, stated that they were unable to pause off the screen when the movie was played.

“It took almost an hour of this before they switched to a more kid-friendly movie, but it was super uncomfortable for everyone, especially with families and kids onboard,” the user added.
