Over 400 people were killed and a thousand others were injured when a deadly earthquake rocked Iraq-Iran border on Sunday. As locals of both the countries in the border regions of Kurdistan panicked, the world came together to condole the losses. And while photos of the aftermath have stunned everyone online, one video of the incident is going viral. The footage caught on camera during a live TV interview shows the guests visibly shaken by the quake.
The clip shows a TV reporter in a studio, based in Erbil, conducting the interview when the guest in Sulaimaniya starts sweating and the camera starts to shake badly. “There is an earthquake here. I’m going to go outside. Sorry,” the guest interrupts and hurries to leave, as per a translation by The Guardian. The reporter also said he could feel the tremors and soon the telecast is ended.
