SpongeBob SquarePants is one of the most beloved animation shows on television across the globe, which might explain why a new spoof video of Patrick Star’s ‘invisible fight’ has gone viral. In the video, a man is seen throwing punches at the show’s famous starfish character and the perfect timing of his moves has people impressed everywhere.
The video, which has over 8 million views on Twitter alone, shows a man adding effects to the show’s iconic fight scene, in which Patrick Star beats himself up as if there were an invisible person attacking him.
The attack is carried out to get SpongeBob entry into The Salty Spitoon, a club for the toughest sailors. The reenactment is from an episode of the show’s third season titled ‘No Weenies Allowed’ that aired first in 2002.

Although the video was first posted on Instagram by Jordan Brown, the man seen in video, it went viral after it was shared on Twitter. Over the years, many have attempted to match the hits on Patrick, but many SpongeBob fans said this was the best one they have seen.
