Tabla version of Game of Thrones theme song by this Mumbai artiste is awesome

Mumbai-based percussionist Karan Chitra Deshmukh uploaded a brilliant cover of the Game of Thrones theme song, playing a very unlikely instrument — the tabla.

The artiste, who also dabbles in electronic fusion, uploaded a version of the Ramin Djawadi-composed GoT theme, on Youtube on April 23. Much to his surprise (if his Facebook post is anything to go by), the video went viral as the popular TV series premiered its sixth season.
