Zerodha co-founder Nithin Kamath’s mother, Revathi Kamath, has stirred emotions online after posting a set of rare childhood photos of her sons, Nithin and Nikhil, on Facebook. The one-minute video, which has quickly gone viral, offers an intimate, never-before-seen look at the early life of the brothers who went on to build India’s biggest stockbroking platform.

The montage strings together snapshots from their growing-up years, tiny moments of warmth, mischief, and family joy. From being lovingly held as toddlers to blowing out birthday candles and posing during family getaways, the video beautifully captures the simplicity of their childhood. Captioned only as “My sons,” it also includes glimpses of their school days, showing the young Kamaths proudly holding up medals and trophies.

The post has resonated deeply with viewers. One user wrote, “Very nice memories. You deserve all appreciation for preserving the old photographs of all the best events.” Another said, “Really proud of your very caring and genius sons. God bless you and your family members.” A third added, “Proud mother always gems of India trade.”

This is not the first time Revathi has shared something heartfelt about her children. Earlier, she posted a then-and-now photo of Nithin, writing that her life “actually started” with him, emphasising that no matter how successful children become, they remain their mother’s little ones.

Revathi often uses her posts to reflect on her own evolution, too. She has spoken openly about battling years of self-doubt and once believing her role was limited to home and motherhood. Today, she encourages other women to recognise their strengths and step into their potential, crediting even her comfort on camera to a trait she proudly says she passed on to Nikhil.
