‘Match day at Eden Gardens’: Woman enjoys a ‘VIP day’ as she watches KKR match beside Shah Rukh Khan

How would it be to watch your favourite Indian Premier League (IPL) teams in action from the VIP box, and that too along with the most loved Bollywood actor? A woman named Aradhana Chatterjee fulfilled her dream as she watched the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in action at the Eden Gardens stadium in Kolkata from the VIP box beside none other than the ‘Baadshah of Bollywood’ Shah Rukh Khan, who is the team owner.

She watched the match between KKR and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the Eden Gardens on April 6. Chatterjee showed how the VIP box looks like as she recorded videos from the stadium’s entrance toward the balcony from where one can watch the action. Shah Rukh was seen standing in the VIP box as well wearing a hoodie and shades. He was also seen waving towards the fans. “Match day at Eden Gardens!” she captioned the video.

The match was won by KKR by 81 runs. KKR scored 204/7 after batting first with Shardul Thakur making 68 runs, Rahmanullah Gurbaz 57 and Rinku Singh 46. RCB were bowled out for 123 in 17.4 overs with Varun Chakaravarthy grabbing four wickets. KKR are currently at the seventh spot in the standings with four points from five matches.
