In a heart-stopping encounter at Kalyanpur in Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur district, a man narrowly escaped from the clutches of a 15-ft-long python. The terrifying moment, captured in a viral video, shows the snake wrapping its tail around his neck as he was defecating in a forest.

With sheer panic, the man grappled with the python’s mouth and cried out for help. Thanks to the swift and courageous actions of villagers who were passing by, he was pulled back from the brink of death.

As the man’s desperate screams pierced the air, the villagers sprang into action without a moment’s hesitation. By the time they arrived, however, the python had coiled itself tightly around him, turning the scene into a gripping struggle for survival.

As the villagers battled to free the man from the python’s embrace, they used axes, stones, and whatever tools they could find to subdue the serpent and avert a fatal disaster.

No legal action has been taken against the villagers who killed the python, with forest department officials stating that killing an animal to save a life is not considered a crime.

Forest ranger Mahesh Chandra Kushwaha commented on the incident, “The man was struggling to breathe as the python had coiled around his neck. If an animal is killed by a person in such a circumstance, no legal action is taken against him.”
