In the early hours of Wednesday, Janmabhoomi Express, traveling from Visakhapatnam to Lingampally, encountered a technical issue when two of its AC coaches got delinked shortly after departure.
This unforeseen incident resulted in the train returning to Visakhapatnam railway station, causing a significant delay for the passengers on board.
The train, which was scheduled to depart at 6:20 am, had already covered some distance towards Vijayawada when the problem was detected, wrote Yo! Vizag on their website. A video was shared on Instagram from @yo.vizag.
Railway personnel quickly notified the locomotive pilot, leading to the decision to bring the train back to Visakhapatnam for safety reasons. The passengers faced a waiting period of over three hours while the issue was being rectified.
