KBC contestant loses after choosing Tejasvi Surya over Rahul Gandhi; BJP MP reacts

Contestant Narendra Kumar was going strong on Friday’s episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 11 when a question about a Japanese martial art threw him off.

Playing for Rs 6,40,000, the question that was posed to Kumar was, “Which of the following members of the 17th Lok Sabha is a black belt in Aikido, a Japanese martial art?” The options were — Gautam Gambhir, Rahul Gandhi, Anurag Thakur and Tejasvi Surya.

Kumar, who hails from Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, selected Tejasvi Surya as the answer. The correct answer, however, was Rahul Gandhi. Interestingly, Surya, BJP MP from Bangalore South, took note of the incident and amused netizens with his tweet for the contestant.

Taking to social media, the 28-year-old MP shared a screenshot of the episode and tweeted, “Bro. I feel so bad for you. I wish I was indeed a black belt in Aikido. You would have been a richer man today.”

With a following of over three lakh, it did not take long for Surya’s tweet to be flooded with reactions.
