A family has resorted to an unconventional method to recover their money from Byju’s after they faced difficulties obtaining a refund for an unused tablet and learning programme. They removed a TV installed in the edtech giant’s office and took it away.
According to a video posted on Instagram, the family had initiated a refund request within the stipulated time frame but faced numerous hurdles. After weeks of trying and failing to reach a resolution, they visited the office and dismantled a TV installed there. They were also heard saying, “Take it when you pay the refund,” to the office staff.
