Halloween is celebrated every year on October 31. The day is commemorated in memory of the deceased across continents and cultures. The festival’s origins can be traced back to the ancient Celtic festival known as Samhain. It is believed that the souls of the dead returned to their homes on that day, making people dress in costumes. A video of a home in Brampton, Canada, decorated with a Bollywood twist has left the Internet in splits.

The viral video shows the house with a note hanging outside, along with a doll—in a red saree—on the ceiling. The note had the iconic dialogue from Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s starrer Stree: “O Stree Kal Aana.” An Instagram handle @troll_canadaa_ shared the video.

With over a million views, the video prompted a reaction from Maddock Films, the production house that created the Stree franchise. “It’s going to be a busy Halloween for Stree!” the official handle of Maddock Films wrote. Several other users thronged to the comment section with one saying, “Honestly, it’s cool! People have ghosts from Hollywood as well. This one is cool, creative and relatable, I just know many people will click its pictures and smile.” Another user commented, “When I visit Canada first place I’d visit is Brampton.”

“That is so creative,” a third user said.
