Ranveer Allahbadia, girlfriend rescued from drowning in Goa by IPS officer: ‘We got swept away’

“We’re perfectly fine and well now. But yesterday at 6:00 pm or so, my girlfriend and I had to be rescued from a bit of a situation,” he wrote in this post. “A casual, fun dip in the waves was interrupted by an underwater current that toppled both of us. The next thing we knew was that we were both struggling to stay afloat,” the post read.

The YouTuber explained that at one point he swallowed so much water and it was then he decided to seek help. “There was a point during the ordeal where I swallowed a lot of water and started fading away a little bit. That’s when I decided to shout for help,” he wrote.

Thanking the IPS officer and his IRS officer, Allahbadia wrote, “Deep gratitude to the family of the IPS officer husband and IRS officer wife who saved us both. This experience left us feeling both blank as well as grateful. We felt the protection of God throughout the incident.”

After the incident came to light, Allahbadia’s followers reached out to him in the comment section. Many users shared similar experiences. “We lost a dear friend in Bali who was a state level swimmer while saving both his kids. One must never take nature for granted…it’s fury is real. glad u could make it,” a user wrote. “You were gifted a second chance at life. A kind soul, now with an even deeper purpose. Much love brother,” another user commented.

Allahbadia has not opened up about his personal life on social media till date and often covers his girlfriend’s face with emojis in photos.
