While some users praised the cop, others debated whether the response would have been the same if it was a man in the car.

Most Indian weddings are known for over-the-top celebrations, and they often come with a side of delightful chaos and drama. A bride-to-be in Punjab recently found herself in one such situation just before her Haldi ceremony. However, what seemed like a tense encounter turned into a light-hearted exchange—one that the Internet has dubbed “pookie”.

Aanchal Arora, the bride-to-be, was stopped by traffic cops for a challan while heading to her Haldi ceremony with her family. But after hearing her plea, the officers decided to waive the challan and asked her to bring “laddoos” on her way back. In the viral video, Arora can be heard promising, “Laddoo ka dabba waapsi mein, pakka (I’ll bring a box of laddoos on my return.)”

The exact reason for the traffic stop remains unclear. The overlay text on the video read, “When you thought it was a ‘CHALLAN’ but instead it was ‘SHAADI MUBARAK’.”
