The traffic in Bengaluru is bad, especially during peak office hours. Many residents of Bengaluru lament on social media about the worsening traffic situation as it takes a lot of time to even travel a short distance. A woman, however, utilised her time productively as she peeled vegetables in her car while waiting in the traffic.
The woman named Priya shared a photo on X, formerly Twitter, that showed various vegetables in polybags kept on the passenger seat of the car. One of the polybags seemed to be filled with peeled peas. As her car was waiting in a queue, she found time to peel the vegetable and keep them in a different polybag. “Being productive during peak traffic hours,” she captioned the photo.

The tweet soon went viral getting more than 1.17 lakh views and netizens were impressed by her productivity.
“This post went viral,” a user commented. “Sending this to my boss!” said another. “Damn…. You have set a new benchmark in productivity, Priya,” wrote a third. “Haha.. I won’t be surprised if a startup comes up with an idea of mobile hydroponics farms. Plants grow as a vehicle reaches Indiranagar from Silkboard midst of Bangalore traffic,” another user posted.
In May, a video of a bus driver finishing his lunch while waiting for the bus to move ahead went viral on Instagram.
The driver managed to finish his lunch while waiting for the vehicles to move at the Silk Board Junction. The video showed the driver quickly finishing his lunch from the tiffin while waiting in traffic. “Peak Traffic Moment in Bengaluru,” the user captioned the clip.
