Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Srinagar on Thursday to inaugurate the developmental project of Hazratbal shrine. Upon landing, PM Modi took a moment to admire the breathtaking view of the Shankaracharya Hill from the helicopter pad.
Sharing the photos of the hill, taken from a distance, on X, PM Modi wrote, “Upon reaching Srinagar a short while ago, had the opportunity to see the majestic Shankaracharya Hill from a distance.” The photos show PM Modi dressed in a beige kurta-pajama. He also wore a black jacket and an orange scarf as he folded his hands before the hill.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the ‘Viksit Bharat Viksit Jammu Kashmir’ programme at Bakshi stadium. This is the first time PM Modi has been in the Valley since the abrogation of Article 370. He will also announce multiple projects for the tourism sector worth over Rs 1,400 crore, including the ski drag lift at Sonamarg in Ganderbal district.
