Cricket is undoubtedly the most popular sport in the Indian subcontinent where boys can be spotted playing the game in every nook and cranny. Boys aspire to become international cricketers and start honing their skills from a very young age. Well, a video of a young boy from Pakistan is going viral for his extraordinary batting skills. Raza Mahar, who describes himself as a cricketer from Ghotki, Sindh, Pakistan, shared the video on Instagram. He says in his bio that the little boy is his nephew. In a video posted on May 8, the boy is seen showcasing his power-hitting skills. Using a room as a makeshift stadium with a bat kept as wickets, he is seen striking every ball neatly and showing his repertoire of shots. Wearing a cap and a loose T-shirt, he hits the plastic ball all around the room. Netizens commented that he should play for India in the future. Some also joked that he can be the replacement of KL Rahul in the India team or Riyan Parag in Rajasthan Royals. In another video, the young boy even mastered a “helicopter shot” that was made popular by M S Dhoni and Suryakumar Yadav. In April, Twitter user Gaurav Agarwal (@7Gaurav8), shared a set of artificial intelligence-generated photos that imagined Indian cricketers like Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah, Ruturaj Gaikwad, KL Rahul, and others as kids. However, many of the pictures retained some features of maturity like facial hair which left an uncanny effect.
