Bengaluru is known for throwing various surprises at people that are dubbed ‘Peak Bengaluru’ moments. A man shared a similar experience as he was surprised to see his Rapido rider coming on a high-end motorcycle to pick him up. But that wasn’t all as he also got to know that the Rapido rider was an engineer at a company where he was going to attend a meetup.
Nishit Patel, a software engineer from Mumbai, shared on X, formerly called Twitter, that he was on his way to a Kubernetes meetup. He ordered a Rapido bike to go to the meetup and a man riding a Royal Enfield Hunter came to pick him up.
Patel then got to know that his rider was a DevOps engineer at a company managing enterprise Kubernetes clusters. Kubernetes, originally designed by Google, is an open-source container orchestration system for automating software deployment, scaling, and management.
“You won’t believe the crazy @peakbengaluru moment I had today! On my way to a Kubernetes meetup, my Rapido captain pulled up on a Royal Enfield Hunter. Turns out he’s a DevOps engineer at a company managing enterprise Kubernetes clusters. Just another day in India’s tech capital,” Patel posted.

“Bro’s maximizing his efficiency. Getting paid to go to Kubernetes meetup,” a user commented. “Nice way to meet and interact with more people,” said another. “Not at all surprising. I had seen a Classic 350 coming as a Rapido ride in Bhubaneswar. So,” wrote a third.
