A lot of people order things online, especially during the sale season. However, many buyers complain about receiving faulty products or outright broken stuff when it is delivered to them.

An X (@tomplayjr) user took to the social media platform to share how he ordered a kitchen chimney from Flipkart. However, when he opened the box, he was disheartened to find the chimney in complete disarray, broken into pieces.

He said the chimney was delivered to him on October 6. The man said he even raised a complaint on National Consumer Helpline’s platform ‘Jago Grahak Jago’.

Flipkart Support replied to the post and wrote, “We’re sorry to keep you waiting. Please be assured
that we are looking into your concern about the delivered product and will keep you updated via a call/email. Your patience is greatly appreciated.”

“We are addressing your concern regarding the received order as you have already reached out to us. Our team is actively working on it, and we will contact you shortly to provide an update on your query. Appreciate your patience and understanding,” it said in another tweet.

“Prepare to astonish yourself with the ‘out if the world’ excuses from flipkart. Do not engage with their customer care executives. Instead register your complaint on – http://pgportal.gov.in,” a user suggested.

Meanwhile, the man posted that the issue has now been resolved as Flipkart picked up the damaged product and issued a refund.

“My issue has been resolved. They picked up the damaged product and issued the refund,” the user wrote on Tuesday.

Recently, another man took to X, formerly Twitter, to share his grievance as he claimed to have received a wrong product in place of a Sony television that he ordered.

The user named Aryan (@thetrueindian) said he ordered a Sony television from Flipkart on October 7 and it was delivered on October 10. The installation person came the next day and unboxed the TV himself, he said. However, they were shocked to find that instead of a Sony TV, the box contained a Thomson TV and it did not have any accessories like a stand or remote.
