The 18th Lok Sabha is being held in 7 phases, from April 19 to June 1.As the voting for the second phase of Lok Sabha elections draws to a close on Friday evening, a myriad of notable personalities exercised their right to vote in 13 states and union territories.
Among the millions who queued up to partake in the democratic process were former cricketing legends Anil Kumble and Rahul Dravid and actors Prakash Raj and Tovino Thomas.
Dravid, known for his patience and perseverance, exemplified the spirit of a responsible citizen as he patiently waited his turn, setting an example for others.

Meanwhile, Kumble took to social media platform X, sharing a snapshot of himself proudly displaying his inked finger with Election Commission’s “I am a proud voter,” frame. Through his official X account, the former cricketer urged his followers to follow suit and participate in shaping the nation’s future.

Prakash Raj cast his vote in Bengaluru while Tovino Thomas, who is also the election brand ambassador, cast his vote at Government Girls Higher Secondary school, Irinjalakuda.
Other prominent people who exercised their franchise were author and Rajya Sabha MP Sudha Murthy and her husband and Infosys co-founder N R Naryana Murthy.
