India and Australia played against each other on Thursday for the fourth ODI of the series in Bangalore. With a good start, the latter gave a target of 335 runs after the first half. Giving great expectations to the viewers as they managed to keep the opponent’s score below 350, the Indian team came to the field. However, the beginning turned out to be a quite disappointing for cricket fanatics as Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were dismissed early. Sharma, who had 65 runs in his bag, got run out. A few balls later, Kohli got clean bowled after scoring just 21 runs.
The shocking turn of events left a lot of viewers worried. Nevertheless, Twitterati’s sense of humour was at the top of their game. Filled with sarcasm and wit, people doled out jokes and memes about the two dismissals on the microblogging site. While one user wrote, “* Virat Kohli reached into the dressing room * Rohit : Ye experiment fail ho gaya… agli baar tu hi run out hona,” another Twitter user tweeted: “Kohli was Ravindra Jadeja of the match and Rohit Sharma was Hardik Pandya. You know what I mean.”
