The thriving street food business of Hyderabad’s Kumari Aunty, celebrated for her Instagram reels and YouTube videos, has been asked to shut up shop, thanks to a small but viral troll video that also led to media coverage.
The controversy caught the attention of TV actor Sundeep Kishan, who expressed dismay over the situation. “Not Fair at all..Just when she was turning out be a inspiration to many Women to start their own business to support their family…was one of the Strongest Female empowerment examples I have seen in the recent past.. My Team and I are getting in touch with her to do what Best we can to Help Her.”

Kumari Aunty gained immense popularity on social media, with rumours circulating that her street food business was raking in substantial profits and even attracting a celebrity clientele. Speculation had also arisen about her potential participation in the upcoming season of Bigg Boss.
However, the surge in Kumari Aunty’s popularity took a toll on local traffic, with customers flocking to her street food stall near the Cable Bridge parking vehicles haphazardly on the road. The police then registered a case against her.
The police, citing the traffic disruptions, told Kumari Aunty that she would have to wind up the business, leading to a heated argument between her and them.
A netizen wrote, “Social media influencers and memes creators need attention.” Another said, “Good job, brother.” A third posted, “Great gesture.. god bless.”
